Privacy policy

Short version: we don't collect your data because it never leaves your browser.

What data we process

QR3D is a tool that runs entirely in your browser. The links, WiFi passwords, text, logos and 3D models you generate are never sent to any server: they're processed on your device and downloaded directly from it. We have no way of ever seeing them.

You don't need to sign up or provide any personal data to use the tool.

Local storage

We use the browser's session storage to remember a few minimal things during your visit, like whether you've already dismissed a notice. That information is deleted when you close the tab and is never shared.

Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager, a tag manager from Google that loads in the background and lets us add or remove measurement tools (like Google Analytics) without changing the site's code. Google Tag Manager itself doesn't analyze your browsing or set any cookies of its own: it only loads whatever tags are configured inside it.

The purpose is to understand how many visits the site gets and from which pages, to see what content works and prioritize improvements. The legal basis is legitimate interest for strictly necessary measurement and, for any cookie or storage that isn't essential, your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time from the site's cookie banner (see the cookie policy).

TODO: as long as no analytics tag is enabled inside Google Tag Manager, this section doesn't describe any real processing yet. It will be expanded with the exact provider, the duration of its cookies and a link to its policy once one is activated.

Advertising

TODO: when advertising is enabled, this section will state the provider (for example Google AdSense) and the use of advertising cookies. Consent for those cookies will be requested through the same cookie banner already in place.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to the contact address in the legal notice. Since we don't store personal data, in most cases the answer will be that no data associated with you exists.
