For nurseries, plant shops and home gardens
A pot or a flower bed has no wall to screw a plaque into, and no handle to hang a door hanger from. The stake solves that with a spike that goes straight into the soil, leaving the plaque with the QR code visible above the surface.
A nursery can use it to link each species to its own care sheet (light, watering, season); an online plant shop, to go straight to the product page; in a home garden, it works as a reminder of what was planted and when.

Material for the outdoors
A garden stake lives outside far longer than a keychain or an indoor plaque. PETG or ASA hold up to moisture and UV rays much better than standard PLA, which yellows and turns brittle after just a few months in direct sun.
Common questions
Can it go into regular soil?
Yes, the spike is built for regular potting or garden soil, not compacted ground or tough turf. In very hard soil, make a pilot hole with something thin first.
How long is the spike?
It's calculated automatically from the plaque size you pick, so there's nothing extra to set.
Does it hold up to rain and sun?
Not great in PLA long-term: it yellows and turns brittle. In PETG or ASA, yes — that's the recommended choice for permanent outdoor use.
Can I add the plant's name besides the QR code?
Yes, the same embossed-text field the other pieces use appears above the code, in the plaque area.
Does it work for indoor pots too?
Yes, indoors any material works fine; PETG or ASA are only needed if the stake will be left outdoors.
